FOR GROUP TRAVEL TO CUBA!
Step into the past as you arrive in Havana and stop at Revolution Square, where American classic cars abound and Che Guevara’s famous image looms. In the small fishing village of Jaimanitas, you’ll explore the home, gallery and workshop of world-renowned artist Jose Fuster, often referred to as the “Picasso of Cuba.” Next, prepare to be awed with a special performance by Habana Compas dance troupe, featuring an exhilarating mix of percussion and dance rooted in flamenco and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Then put your dancing shoes on for the acclaimed Buena Vista Social Club dinner show.
An enlightening walking tour of Old Havana, home to the largest collections of Spanish-Colonial architecture in the Americas, with a local architect will showcase the crumbling buildings of yesteryear and the renovations ongoing to bring them back to life. A short drive outside the city, you will be transported into the world of Ernest Hemingway at his farm Finca La Vigia where he lived for 21 years and penned many of his greatest works.
Havana’s paladares welcome you throughout your experience to join with locals at privately-owned small restaurants serving authentic Cuban dishes. And leisure time in the evenings will allow you to self-explore, be it sipping a mojito in the shadow of Sinatra at the Hotel Nacional overlooking the Malecón, dancing salsa at a nightclub or taking in a jazz show in country that breathes music and rhythm.
